Hurricane Katrina (1981) was the twenty-tropical depression, the eleventh named storm and be in seventh hurricane of the Atlantic hurricane season of 1981. During his lifetime, Katrina hit the Cayman Islands, Cuba and the Bahamas, killing two people in Cuba as it passed over the island. The storm formed in an area of cloudiness on the first of November in the western Caribbean Sea, the cloud became Tropical Depression 21 days later, and Tropical Storm Katrina the next day. After passing on Grand Cayman, Katrina is moving northeast, passing very close to Cuba as a Category 1 hurricane on the scale Saffir-Simpson hurricane, which later affected the Bahamas as a tropical storm, which caused a precipitation of 14 inches of rain equivalent to 360 mm. Katrina was merged with a frontal depression on November 7.
